The number of subscribers to the PEERS email lists is approaching 6,000, up over 50% from a year ago, with 90 countries from around the globe now represented. Though the number of visitors to our websites hasn't changed much over last year, we've still received well over one million visits in the last year. That's more than 2,500 visits per day. A number of influential people who are movers and shakers have even contacted us through the websites expressing gratitude for the quality of information provided. We feel incredibly fortunate to have such a wonderful network of supporters who send us all kinds of excellent information and inspiration.

Financially, this year we've entered new territory. Last April, for the first time we hired both a full-time employee, Tod Fletcher, and a contractor, Andrey, who works up to 20 hours a week with us. Both of them have been doing excellent work. Tod has largely been working with our informative and revealing website www.WantToKnow.info. Web wizard Andrey is a genius in website development and has been the major force in developing the amazing new community networking portal for our Transformation Team website. You can take a peak at the portal by clicking here. Though I continue to work full-time on all of our websites, our budget does not yet allow me to be paid for any of the work I've done. I continue to live largely from my dwindling savings.

Salary and payments to Andrey and Tod will run about US$35,000 for this year. Other costs have run around $5,000 for total yearly expenses of approximately $40,000. We are extremely grateful to have received over $18,000 in contributions so far this year, almost two times what we received in 2006. Yet as this is far from enough to cover expenses, I have had to donate $20,000 this year in order to keep us in the black. My savings are rapidly dwindling and I cannot keep contributing at this rate. I've already told Tod that if we don't receive enough contributions, we will have to cut his hours in coming months. For this reason, I am asking you to consider the value of our work and donate whatever amount feels right and best for you to support this valuable cause.

Even if we eventually have to lay off all of our paid workers, I am committed to keep PEERS and our websites running. I'm very hopeful it will not come to this. With wonderful subscribers like you supporting us, I am optimistic that donations will continue to rise, as they have so far every year. Maybe one year I'll even get paid for the many thousands of hours of work I put in. It is such a joy to be able to live and work my passion. I have great hopes that one day I will be able to support myself with this work. Any help you can contribute towards this end is most greatly appreciated.
