We Need Your Help
PEERS Needs Your Help
"PEERS helped me move from a place of fear and hate to one of seeking spiritual development. Iím 36 years old and had been away from that path since I was 18.†You have helped me view seemingly negative events as challenges and opportunities to grow.† A strange synchronicity has further confirmed that what I thought was mechanistic, material reality, was merely an illusion.† Iíve found the deeper reality to be far more beautiful and empowering than I could have imagined a year and half ago." -- Todd, a PEERS subscriber
PEERS really needs your help. We depend almost entirely on your support to continue this important work of spreading inspiration and promoting global transformation. As we are deeply committed to supporting a new paradigm based on love and cooperation, we have chosen not to put any advertising or promotions on our websites or in our newsletters, and everything we publish is available free of charge to all who are interested. We are playing our part to bring in this exciting new paradigm, and we really need your help to continue moving powerfully forward.
I first want to thank all of our regular supporters and those who have already so generously supported our work in the past. Thank you so much for helping us to keep this meaningful work spreading to ever greater numbers of people. You support allows us not just to survive, but to thrive.
As of Dec. 1st, we are $8,039 in the red this year. This is more than ever before, and without your help, 2011 will be the first year we end up in the red. We do our best not to bombard you with requests for donations, yet twice a year we make an appeal like this, as we really need your support to close our budget gap. Every little bit helps. You can help us with a financial donation and/or by supporting us through purchases you might make at amazon.com, as described below.
As PEERS is a 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit, all contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law. To contribute using your credit card online, please visit the link below. You can make a one-time donation or help us even more with a monthly donation. Please use the link below for either of these options to support us in building a better world for all of us.
To send a check or money order, please make your donation out to PEERS and mail it to:
1607 Francisco St.
Berkeley, CA 94703
We welcome checks and money orders in currencies other than U.S. dollars, though there is a significant fee to process these, so please only use other currencies if the amount is equivalent to US $40 or more. Direct bank transfers are also very welcome and can be made in smaller amounts. Please contact us for information on this.
If you are uncertain about making a contribution, we ask you to consider the value of our work both to you personally and to our world. Then ask yourself, is the work of PEERS worth the price of a good book or a good meal in a restaurant to you? If so, we encourage you to donate that amount or more to support our work. Even $5 makes a difference.
Amazon.com referral program
Amazon.com has a great program through which our website earns a percentage of anything you buy without costing you anything extra. Simply by entering amazon.com using a link with a code in the URL identifying that we referred you, our website gets 4 to 8% of the sale. As long as you enter through this link, any purchases you make support our work. If you shop at amazon.com and want to support us at no extra cost to yourself, please bookmark or favorite the webpage URL below and use it any time you want to search for and purchase something on amazon.com.
Please note that you will not receive notification of your use of this referral program, but know that you are helping us any time you make a purchase using this link. We've already earned over $3,000 in the past two years through the support of people like you with this program.
Thank you so much for your support. Your generous help is greatly appreciated.
For those interested in an update, since the first PEERS website was posted to the Internet in early 2003, the 11 PEERS websites cumulatively have received almost 11 million visits and 20 million page views. In the last year alone, the Web of Love website has had a 60% increase in the number of visits. It now receives an average of around 1,000 visits a day. And our two email listsnow have over 12,000 subscribers. Yea!!!
We feel privileged and honored to be able share so much inspiration with you and with so many readers from around the world. Thank you so much for your support, and may you have rich and meaningful holiday season ahead.
With sacred love and warmest wishes,
Fred Burks for the inspiring and educational PEERS websites
