The Limits of Science

Science wants us to believe that there is an objective world out there which is the same for all of us. We are all then subject to the same rules that science defines through the "scientific method," which is based on experiments which are repeatable. We therefore confine ourselves by accepting these limitations of the external world, and in a sense, become powerless victims of the maxims which science dictates.

Mystics realize that each of us creates the world we live in, and that life is a co-creative process with all in our lives, and with infinite possibilities. There are no limits. The external world is merely a creation of our collective inner consciousness, and is subject only to limitations placed upon it by that consciousness.

Science wants to develop and continually refine the rules of our world. The mystic wants to explore and play with the exceptions to the rules.

Our material world, some call it 3D, does seem to governed by a set of constraints though.  There are forces like gravity, for example, that constrain or limit our ability to manifest consciousness that can alter our reality landscape as we physically experience it.  Time is another constraint or limit.

Science, through the exploration and study of Quantumness, now seems ready to take our understanding to an entirely new level.  Fascinating to me is that there is acceptance at the academic level that "perception" is one of the key components in determining what IS.

Thanks for your thoughts. There are definitely constraints that go along with living in this physical reality. There are many natural laws like gravity, electrical charge, and much more. Yet as you point out, at the quantum level, physicists are finding that our perception plays a key, vital role in what appears as our reality. It's a most fascinating game we've co-created here!
